The Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh in India consists of the districts of Annamayya, Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, Sri Sathya Sai and Tirupati.

  • 1 Anantapur — a city well connected by road and rail with city and nearby attractions
  • 2 Aragonda — a village in the Chittoor district
  • 3 Banaganapalli — a village in an area famous for diamond deposits
  • 4 Chittoor — close to the revered temple of lord Balaji and Horsley Hills
  • 5 Cuddapah (Kadapa) — picturesque city with several important temples
  • 6 Kanipakam
  • 7 Kurnool — the proposed judicial capital of Andhra Pradesh and the site of Konda Reddy Fort
  • 8 Nagalapuram
  • 9 Nandyal — a town surrounded by nine temples
  • 10 Puttaparthi — place of Satya Saibaba (Shantinilayam)
  • 11 Sri City (Sricity) — a commercial (business) city
  • 12 Srikalahasti — one of the ancient places of Hindu pilgrimage and the site of the ancient Lord Shiva temple
  • 13 Tirupati — has a sacred temple situated on the Tirumala Hills

  • 1 Belum Caves — a network of natural underground caves in shale/slate rock partly explored
  • 2 Gandikota — village within the Gandikota Fort complex
  • 3 Horsley Hills — a hill station and summer residence of British governors
  • 4 Kadiri — famous for its Sri Khadri Laxmi Nara Simha Swamy temple
  • 5 Kalikiri — several temples and wonderful area for trekking
  • 6 Mahanandi — known as 'Majestic Cow', this village is famous for its temple's fresh water pools
  • 7 Mantralayam — a temple of Sri Raghavendra Swamy
  • 8 Srisailam — one of the Jyothir Linga Temples (Lord Shiva)
  • 9 Tada Falls — also called Ubbalamadugu Falls

The major language is Telugu. Some educated people can understand Hindi and English. At Ahobilam, people can understand and talk in Kannada/Tamil.
