[edit]Amtrak's daily Southwest Chief passenger train makes its only Iowa stop in Fort Madison on its runs between Chicago and other stops in Illinois on one side and Missouri, Kansas, and other states right the way to Los Angeles on the other. The station is at 1601 20th Street, on the river side of the city.
