The Fraser Canyon is in British Columbia, Canada. It follows the namesake Fraser River north from Hope, but also includes the Thompson River canyon between Lytton and Ashcroft.

The narrow Fraser River canyon contains British Columbia's largest river, two transcontinental railways, and the Trans-Canada Highway. It travels through some of British Columbia's most striking scenery.

Get in[edit]

The region is serviced by the Trans-Canada Highway 1 which runs north-south in the canyon. Provincial Highway 8 runs west from Merritt and joins the canyon at Spences Bridge. Provincial Highway 12 travels northwest from Lytton and joins Highway 99 at Lillooet.
