Ifelodun is a district in Kwara State. Ifelodun is one of the popular districts in Kwara State, the district is predominantly dominated by the Yorubas majorly those with roots from places like Ife, Oyo, and others. Its headquarters is in the town of Share.

During the 2006 population census conducted in Nigeria, Ifelodun recorded a population of over 200,000.

Get in and around[edit]

By plane[edit]

There is an international airport in the state's capital by which you can get in through, then get to Ifelodun.

You can get into the state by this airport from most states in the country (once there is an airport in the state), once you get in through the plane, all you need to do is to board a bus or get on a cab that will take you into Ifelodun.

By train[edit]

There is a train service from Ibadan to Ifelodun and also from Kano and Kaduna to Ifelodun. Although there are plans by the federal government to have more rail stations in the country. This train mode of getting in is also a good method, although you need to be very sure the train would move on the day you set to travel and you also need to get there and get your tickets on time to avoid the disappointment of any kind.

By bus[edit]

There are several bus terminals across all states by which you can get into Ifelodun. You can even get a luxurious bus or local buses into Ifelodun, all you need to do is to get to the park and book your seat, pay, and get ready to journey into Ifelodun.

Getting around is also not a big deal, as there are various and several buses, cabs, tricycles and even motorcycles to move you around in the state and to move you into Ifelodun.

There are usually places to drink in Ifelodun, there are palm wine joints, bars, and just local drinking centers in the district where you can walk in, request a drink, and have a good drink.
