Llangefni[dead link] is a town in east Anglesey in Wales. It is the county town of Anglesey and is in the middle of the island with the coast around 7 mi (11 km) in each direction.

The town offers a relaxed, quaint atmosphere where the Welsh language is often spoken. All beaches on Anglesey are accessible within a 20 minute drive.

Get in[edit]

By car[edit]

Between Bangor and Holyhead take exit 6 off the A55 and head a mile or so north.

By bus[edit]

Buses are available from Caernarfon and Bangor and to most parts of the island.

Get around[edit]

By bicycle[edit]

The best way to get around town and the island itself, when not on foot.

By foot[edit]

Most attractions are outside the town, therefore alternative transport is needed.

By car[edit]

Car services can be called for attractions that cannot be reached by the previous two forms of transportation.

Today, Llangefni offers vacationers shopping, catching a rugby match on one of the T.V.'s in one of the local pubs, go on a golf outing at one of the local courses, as well as just take some time to relax.
