Ribatejo is a region of Portugal. It is the country's most central province, with neither an Atlantic coast nor a border with Spain. Ribatejo lies along the River Tagus (Rio Tejo) Valley.

  • 11 Santarém — it has the largest and most varied ensemble of gothic churches in Portugal
  • 12 Tomar — one of Portugal's historical jewels, it was the last Templar town to be commissioned for construction, its convent is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • 13 Torres Novas — city with medieval castle and nearby Roman ruins
  • 14 Vila Franca de Xira — Lisbon suburb along the River Tagus, known for its bull running
