- [formerly dead link] Waterloo Village (Park & Concert Fields), Stanhope, NJ (Route 80, exit 25 North, follow signs), ✉ email@example.com. closed, mostly. Former historic park where actors demonstrated activities from colonial and revolutionary American times. Later, a popular concert spot. Now closed only for special occasions, like the Dodge Poetry Festival [dead link], the future is uncertain for the Waterloo Village. Historic preservation is underway, see attached link for official word from the NJDEP.
- Bell's Mansion (In the center of town). Three great dining rooms, tap room, and wonderful patio - overlooking their organic garden! Mojitos, martinis, beer, wine - warm brie salad, to a chicken sandwich, or beef wellington.
- The Stanhope House. Famous as a touring spot for lesser-known, but critically acclaimed rock, folk and jam bands (among others). Was closed for a period, but reopened in 2010.
- The Whistling Swan Inn, 110 Main St, Stanhope, NJ, ☏ . Bed and breakfast and wedding venue. Classy and romantic place.
