Negativity

[edit]

While the edits of this article from an anonymous contributor are appreciated, be careful about crossing the line from cheeky (see Walnut Creek) to vicious (see Santa Rosa). "And you can also do crank. Seems like there's a lot of crank heads in the area." may be true, and might deserve some mention under "Stay safe", but putting it in a section about things to do in Antioch is probably not the best way to present the info. Ditto for the comments about bums. That said, however, I like the line about lost whales in the Delta. -- (WT-en) Ryan 02:36, 10 Aug 2005 (EDT)

I cleared it. -- (WT-en) Colin 03:07, 10 Aug 2005 (EDT)

There are a handful of images at http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search=antioch+california - provided they are licensed under the CC-SA 3.0 or later then they can be re-used here. -- (WT-en) Ryan (talk) 01:52, 3 September 2010 (EDT)

Updates

[edit]

Alright - the wording and descriptions of a lot of this date years back before BART finally came to Antioch, and quite bit of this is going to need at least a look if not a re-write. I've started with the Eat section which was inexplicably separated into restaurants and a bullet list of various pizza chain restaurants (including one that wasn't even in Antioch itself). L. Great! I'm noticing that the article also needs a map. Right now, it has only a complex locator map. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:31, 21 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Get In

[edit]

I added BART to Get In rather than get around - since Antioch only has a single BART station, unlike Oakland or San Francisco. L. Challenger (talk) 14:07, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
