Is it just me who constantly sees an extra "e" in this region's name? :) ϒpsilon (talk) 19:51, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
- I never thought of it, probably because I'm familiar with Alexander the Great's conquest of Bactria - one of the few really successful conquests of the area, I think. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:58, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

- I think no because "Bakhtar" is pronounced in Urdu and in few other languages such as Arabic and Persian. --Saqib (talk) 21:45, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
