Why is this a disambiguation?[edit]
Isn't there only one Dandenong? I haven't ever seen someone confused by this, but most of all, unlike other places, the best you could shorten the Dandenong Ranges is to Dandy Ranges with Dandenong being shortened to Dandy. The ranges isn't be shortened, so I believe that Dandenong should redirect to Dandenong, and put {{confused}} on Dandenong instead of an unnecessary disambiguation.
