"Itineraries are described in one direction"[edit]

Concerning this. Yes, itineraries are described (point 1, point 2, point 3...) only in one direction but unlike some hiking trails, the E4, like other highways can equally well be driven from north to south if you desire. So, does the information on how to get in to the northern end somehow worsen the article?

Please see Via Baltica#Get in, Trans-Siberian Railway#Get in, King's Road (Finland)#Get in, Trans-Canada Highway#Get in or pretty much any other itinerary for that matter — should we also remove half of the getting in sections from them to prevent someone from going the wrong way?

In fact, the lack of instructions for moving in the "other direction" along Ruta del Tránsito is to some people a reason for questioning its eligibility for Featured Travel Topic. ϒpsilon (talk) 15:53, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, who and where brought up the "lack of information for going the other way"? I am just curious, as the page you link to is mostly about problems with horses Hobbitschuster (talk) 22:51, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't it Ikan somewhere? ϒpsilon (talk) 05:03, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I remembered Ikan's comment there slightly wrongly. Nevertheless, unless it's a itinerary that can/may only be traveled in one direction (e.g. Milford Track) we should at the very least mention how to get into both ends. The voyager may want to know. I concur. Hobbitschuster (talk) 19:29, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
