Re: (WT-en) OldPine - In fact, according to disambiguation rule #1, if two places are on the same level of the geographical hierarchy (e.g. both are cities), we should put the country of each in parentheses after their names. Therefore, this article should be a disambiguation page with links to Formosa (Argentina) and Formosa (Brazil) (instead of Formosa (Goiás)), right? -- (WT-en) Ricardo (Rmx) 22:39, 29 October 2006 (EST)

Damned if I know. I would think the disambiguation page should be Formosa. Use your judgement, I'm going to sleep now. (WT-en) OldPine 22:43, 29 October 2006 (EST)
Oh, this is tricky. I guess we should probably have Formosa (province), Formosa (city, Argentina) and Formosa (Brazil). We'd also have Formosa (country) redirecting to Taiwan. All of them referred to from Formosa, a disambiguation page. Anyone into a puzzle tonight? 8-) (WT-en) Ricardo (Rmx) 22:57, 29 October 2006 (EST)
Well, it works the way it's set up now. Formosa (city) is not really needed. I have to admit, I'm not feeling too confident about how it's supposed to be. I suspect the country is just being called Taiwan and the reference to Formosa for that can just point there. (WT-en) OldPine 23:02, 29 October 2006 (EST)
