Why Friedberg (Hessen), rather than Friedberg (Hesse)? --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 17:30, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is there even another Friedberg which has or might at some point have an article? Hobbitschuster (talk) 17:45, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
W: Friedberg, Bavaria? No WV article currently, but WP seems to think it's a city and it has 30k inhabitants, so it may deserve one in the future.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 17:48, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But TT asked why we write it (Hessen) with an 'n', given that the state has an Englisch name without an 'n'? --Ypsilon (talk) 17:50, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ps. de:Friedberg (Bayern) has an article. --Ypsilon (talk) 17:52, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that was the point. It looks like Friedberg (Bavaria) could easily be an article on en.wikivoyage, so assuming there's no reason to keep the -n, I propose moving this to Friedberg (Hesse).--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 18:58, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
