Merge into rural area article

Chamberlain, Oacoma, Selby, and Winner each have fewer than 2500 people, and each article has one or two listings. I propose to merge these cities into a rural area article, and promote Pierre, as the metropolis of South Dakota up to the state-level hierarchy, i.e., the Great Lakes (SD) rural area article would cover that part of the region outside of Pierre.

Wikipedia does not offer information on these cities that could be used to expand the articles, and there have been few substantive edits since they were created in 2011-12. Ground Zero (talk) 19:24, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
