Talk:Haitian Creole phrasebook
Latest comment: 5 years ago by Ikan Kekek in topic J
Could this phrasebook help aid workers in Haiti? I hope so. http://crisiscommons.org/wiki/index.php?title=Languages_%26_Translation Can we get it into better shape? --(WT-en) Evan 18:13, 16 January 2010 (EST)
J
[edit]J is described as being like the "z" in "azure", but I pronounce that "az-YOUR". I assume the sound is actually the same as French "j": Like "s" in "treasure". Would anyone complain if I edited this? Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:28, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, not a good idea to use a word with more than one pronunciation in English as the example. I'll make the change you suggested. —Granger (talk · contribs) 03:12, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I forgot about this completely. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:42, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
