Alternative banner for this article?[edit]

Banner currently used in this article
Suggested new alternative banner

I created a new alternative banner for this article (I initially created it first and foremost so that it would be used at the top of the parallel article in the Hebrew edition of Wikivoyage, yet I later decided to also suggest that the English Wikivoyage community would consider using it here as well). So, which banner do you prefer having at the top of this article? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 04:45, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, a more beautiful view in the suggested replacement. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:54, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. #2. – Hshook (talk) 13:57, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
New suggestion has a better picture quality, I'd go for it. Danapit (talk) 19:03, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The new one is better, so I support to change it. JuliasTravels (talk) 21:15, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The proposed banner is a better quality picture, but not interesting in any way. Wikivoyage banners have plenty of empty scenery and landscapes devoid of life. The ferry in the original gives a better feel of life here. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:51, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When I created the original banner I was looking for something that was common to a varied group of islands, and ideally not too specifically a view of one island. Most of the islands are served by Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac) ferries, and a treeless landscape with visible rock patches is a fairly common scene, particularly in the the Outer Hebrides. I admit that the new banner is a better photo, but I prefer the original (but I am biased). AlasdairW (talk) 20:51, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I vote #2, the ferry does not seem to be particularly typical of that place. Syced (talk) 10:54, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
See the second para of "Get in" - " Most of these ferries are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne". Except for Skye, which is linked by bridge, most visitors will arrive on the Hebrides by ferry. AlasdairW (talk) 16:55, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
