A few questions[edit]

  1. Why is this breadcrumbed to the country article, India, instead of the region/state article, Manipur or the city article, Imphal?
  2. Is this fort complex enough to warrant its own article like Borobudur in Central Java?
  3. Are there too many images here per Wikivoyage:Image policy (@Ikan Kekek:, would you say some images have to go?)

SHB2000 For the first question, I solved it. For the second question, the answer is "yes". Kangla is too large and it houses lots of sites, 360 religious sites, pologround, gardens, and other new developments like museums, shops, cafeterias, etc. are still in progress. I will add most of the notable places soon. For the third question, I think I need help from you guys, SHB2000 and Ikan Kekek. --Haoreima (talk) 13:03, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Too many images[edit]

@Haoreima: do we really need images like File:A recycle bin in the Kangla Fort in Imphal.jpg or File:Guide map of the Kangla fort of Imphal.jpg. The images here extend well beyond the article status template (see Wikivoyage:Image policy) on my screen and seems a bit superfluous. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 08:03, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SHB2000 Thanks for reminding me. Let's spare the guide map as it's useful for the tourists. Let's remove the bin image. Let's remove other excessive ones. --Haoreima (talk) 08:39, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for removing it, Haoreima! Now I don't think there's any violation of WV:IP, though some others may disagree.
Regarding the map, isn't that what the dynamic map is supposed to do, though? SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 09:59, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are right. --Haoreima (talk) 10:03, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think there are still too many images in the article. There should not be an uninterrupted stream of images on the right side. Another issue is what I believe to be overly long captions. If an image requires a paragraph of explanatory text, that should be in a listing, with just a brief caption on the photo itself. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:03, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
SHB2000 & Ikan Kekek I think the excessive images' problem is solved now. Please check it. --Haoreima (talk) 15:21, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:28, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
