National Zoo[edit]

I think it's not right to mention the Zoo here. The address of the zoo is: Hulu Kelang, 68000 Ampang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The zoo should be moved to the Ampang subpage. -- (WT-en) DerFussi 14:41, 21 February 2008 (EST)

Maybe it should be mentioned in both places, as visitors won't know the zoo is in north KL, and it is a "national" zoo. (WT-en) Greenmango 21:34, 21 February 2008 (EST)

At least in my mental map of KL, Ampang is north KL — if you can get there on PUTRA, it's still "in" Kuala Lumpur . (WT-en) Jpatokal 00:50, 22 February 2008 (EST)
Of course but you have an own subpage about Ampang (it's northwest). So it's misplaced in Northern suburbs. You can get there by using the LRT - Kelaya Jana Line (Wangsa Maju Station station). If user want to go to the zoo, they have to search in ALL subpages nevertheless. So it doesn't make sense to mention it in the wrong subpage. OK its a "national zoo". So you should mention it in MAIN article and Ampang. -- (WT-en) DerFussi 01:16, 22 February 2008 (EST)
So why don't we merge Ampang and north KL into one article? (WT-en) Jpatokal 14:30, 23 February 2008 (EST)

I agree. I think its pointless having the KL/Ampang page as it doesn't say much, and it concentrates on the small part of Ampang which is in the city. In fact Ampang covers a huge area, almost right out to Ulu Langat. If somebody knows how, I suggest merging Ampang and north KL. (WT-en) Greenmango 20:08, 23 February 2008 (EST)

Maybe. By the way. The Lake Gardens could be an own article. There are some places to see. Look at my article of Kuala Lumpur and the districts I Have KL divided to. Here -- (WT-en) DerFussi 05:50, 9 May 2008 (EDT)
