Talk:Narita International Airport

This article was created as part of the Airport Expedition to decide upon and implement the best means of writing airport guides. If you have any ideas as to how the approach used here could be improved, please join our discussion there. |
Should all of the "Get In" options from the Narita article be moved here? JRHorse (talk) 14:20, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- I just read through them and I think they should be moved. However the way in which they have been written makes it somewhat unclear which services are exclusively for the airport and which are for the town of Narita. Are you familiar enough with the subject matter to separate? --Andrewssi2 (talk) 14:59, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sure I'll need a bit of time but I'll go ahead and do that. :) JRHorse (talk) 14:39, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Great! Can you also remove any duplicates (that are not relevant) for the town of Narita? --Andrewssi2 (talk) 14:57, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Well that didn't take as long as I thought... How do they look now? JRHorse (talk) 15:06, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Looks great! (Both pages) I can imagine using this on my next visit to Tokyo. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 13:22, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
JR : two things not clear
[edit]There are two sentences I don't get:
- (about the N'EX) there is one hourly departure between 12 noon and 1 PM, and after 8 PM: when looking at the timetable on Hyperdia, there are still 2 trains per hour for Tokyo, but during this period less options from there (1 ends in Tokyo, 3 continue to Yokohama, and none to Shinjuku).
- (about the Rapid) a green car seat can be obtained for … if reserved beforehand, with higher fares charged on board. Fares charged before boarding are deducted from an IC card such as Suica: Does it mean that one need a IC card to board a Green Card without reservation? Or in all the cases?
More interesting stuff
[edit]Due to its controversial history, Narita airport has more interesting things to see than most airports. Anyone has time to investigate and add them as fit?
Keisei Skyliner Fares
[edit]Could someone please point me to where {{Naritaaccess}} is defined on the wiki? The fare for the Keisei Skyliner has risen by 100 yen (changes are already reflected elsewhere in the article). Thanks! JRHorse (talk) 11:47, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
