I copied the wonderful description about getting into New Plymouth by car to Taranaki because it is relevant to the whole region. I then trimmed it down to being about getting in from other towns in the region, with a brief mention of the major gateway towns to the region. Population?[edit]
The article currently has "New Plymouth is the main centre of the Taranaki region, which has a total population of around 100,000." I read that as saying the population of the region is 100,000. If it is supposed to mean the city, then change "which" to "and". I have to ask because I am not sure of the actual population. Pashley (talk) 10:00, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- You were reading it right. I have added the pop of the city (half that of the region). Nurg (talk) 20:19, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
