Talk:Renting a motorhome in New Zealand
Maybe I don't get it, but does this really belong on Wikivoyage? I think with a little bit of manipulation this article would be better if it was on WikiHow. -- (WT-en) Sapphire 00:06, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
- I get it and I think it's a pretty good travel topic. It's a popular thing to do in NZ and there's a lot of stuff travellers would need to know ('specially if they aren't from Down Under). Maybe some of it is could be generalized in a topic article about renting motorhomes/RVs? (WT-en) Maj 11:24, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
- You're completely right. I just realized what I was objecting to and it wasn't the article, but rather the title of the article. When I clicked on the link I kind of expected the mundane details of how to rent a motorhome in NZ and that's why I suggested it belonged on wikiHow instead of here, but I can see it as a prefectly acceptable other way of seeing travel. I'd suggest Traveling around New Zealand in a motorhome which reflects what the core of the article is about. -- (WT-en) Sapphire 13:44, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
Why was Wilderness Motorhomes removed from the list of companies? Seems like a legitimate link to me. I have added it back in until someone can give me a good reason as to why it should not be included.
"IMPORTANT - You are advised to check your credit card card company's insurance or to include this on your travel insurance good company with Travel Insurance is Walkabout Rentals website , no need to pay bond waiver insurance. travel Insurance is a fraction of the cost with so much more cover."
i'm sorry but this part (it's in the insurance section) is unintelligible to me. is it just me (i'm not a native english speaker) or is it actually written in broken english? (WT-en) Innocenzio 10:45, 30 March 2010 (EDT)
- I think you are dead right. I have not got a clue what that means.--(WT-en) Burmesedays 11:47, 30 March 2010 (EDT)
