Shanghai Univesity
[edit]Shanghai University is listed under 'see', however it doesn't say why anyone would want to visit. Should we keep it? --Andrewssi2 (talk) 15:24, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- I think the campus is moderately scenic, but hardly a tourist attraction. I suppose some visitors might be headed for conferences there.
- The area around almost any U has cheap student-oriented eateries, nightlife and shopping, which may be interesting to visitors. In China a U area may be a good place to find English speakers. I'd say we should keep at least large universities as landmarks if nothing else. Pashley (talk) 18:50, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- I guess that Zhabei isn't exactly full of tourist attractions, so there isn't any harm to keep it. As a rule we should avoid listing places without any description whatsoever, so it would be great for someone to add content to this. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 23:12, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
LIFE HUB @ DANING
[edit]I completely agree that the text 'LIFE HUB @ DANING' is irritating, however it is actually the official English name of the Daning commercial and shopping area. Can I please replace? Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:57, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- I took it out in at least half a dozen places. I've no objection to putting some back, but as few as possible, please. Pashley (talk) 01:31, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
