I've expanded this considerably, but am now bored with it & becoming busy with other things. Does anyone want to finish the job?

Latin occupation[edit]
The listing for Constantinople mentions "the Latin occupation several decades prior". Was that part of the Crusades? If so, it likely needs a link. Pashley (talk) 18:30, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- I guess using the word "Latin" in this context is a little problematic in English, but I think that's what it's called. The relevant Wikipedia articles I'm aware of are the following:

More headings?[edit]
Voyages_of_Ibn_Battuta#Destinations is currently a very long section, so I am thinking of splitting it up with sub-headings. What do others think? Pashley (talk) 22:14, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. I was very anxious about involving in an edit conflict when I was editing that section yesterday or so. My initial thought was subdividing it into individual journeys as done by Ibn Battuta, but then I realized it was one big journey from the Maghreb to East Asia and back, and another relatively short one around Iberia and West Africa.
