living in the city[edit]

Hi, I live in the city. Please ask me if you have any questions. I will attempt to improve the articles (like putting addresses and names on the restaurants) as time goes by. Why bother (talk) 20:06, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

US Embassy in Cameroon[edit]

Moved from Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion

In the Yaounde article it states directly as its caption that photographs of the building are illegal. If that's true, shouldn't we delete the photo? ChubbyWimbus (talk) 15:18, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

  • The photo is on commons, not locally uploaded, so we don't actually need a VFD. Go ahead and remove the photo if you like, though I don't think it's a that much of a problem if it stays in the article. ϒpsilon (talk) 17:44, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
The act of photographing may be illegal, but possessing the photograph is not. That's a problem for the photographer, not us (or Commons). Powers (talk) 18:40, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
It sounds like this should be discussed at Talk:Yaoundé, rather than here, as this is not a Vfd issue but a question of whether it's a problem to present an image in an article specifically in order to mention that it's illegal to photograph. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:59, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

"Google Maps reportedly covers the city well"[edit]

Does it or not? Anyone with experience who could state this definitively? Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:14, 5 January 2019 (UTC)

Order of "See" section[edit]

What is the logic behind the order? It's not alphabetical, and no indication is given in the section that it's based somehow on geography/positioning. The section should probably be alphabetized. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:20, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
