Support sea temperatures

[edit]

Some pages such as Brighton (England) and Jeddah include sea temperature data, which the previous climate-box showed. I would suggest re-adding that data as a separate chart below precipitation/snow.

Low temperatures

[edit]

Should a mintemp parameter be introduced, analogous to maxprecip? Now the charts for e.g. Norilsk and South Pole have the temperatures overwrite the explanations at the bottom, making the digits unreadable. –LPfi (talk) 17:45, 5 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Snow units

[edit]

It seems that snow units are sometimes given in height (for example in Salem (Massachusetts)), this is misleading as it shows a much higher amount of snow than rain (Salem does not have three times as much precipitation in winter). The alternative is liquid equivalent (see Ankara), but this creates problems for American users who might see 1 inches of snow for January, while it's closer to one foot by height. We need a compromise, perhaps snow amounts in cm/in with height numbers, but with less space given on the graph? Uness232 (talk) 13:41, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
