Orphan pages

Please do not revert my changes. You have now created two orphan articles which I corrected. Also, the "index" at the bottom of the page e.g. "County Clare" is not according to the MoS and confuses the automatic indexing. Fair enough. What was the other orphan? And which changes are you talking about. I put the index in for my own use while I was working on these pages, as I have trouble moving back up on the geographic hierarchy. Is there a way in the MoS to denote what larger places fall above a certain region? -(WT-en) Neil C 16:26, 11 Aug 2004 (EDT)

Never mind. Got confused by the terms you were using. Yeah, I think the changes your talking about were things that I thought had been the result of me using copy and paste last night, since there was an inconsistency between different regions. The two orphans are "Donegal" and "Leinster". Nothing points to them. (See the "What links here" hyperlink). What you did in "County Clare" fixes the dead-end problem i.e. the page now points to somewhere else. What you could do is say at the top "a is a city in the province of [[province]] in [[country]] --(WT-en) Nzpcmad 16:40, 11 Aug 2004 (EDT)

Donegal

Yes. That's why Evan was pointing out the proper way to move pages to me. In going through all this stuff last night, I realized that most articles had links using "County ______" except for the three in the Republic's part of Ulster. Donegal was the only one of those couties that had any info in it to start with, so I tried blanking it and creating a new page, which apparently wasn't quite correct. --(WT-en) Neil C 21:16, 11 Aug 2004 (EDT)
