Hello Alswns001! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the Wikivoyage:Travellers' pub, as a reply below or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

Your irregularly-structured stub article with a name written in Hangul was deleted. Please use Roman letters only for article titles. Read Wikivoyage:What is an article and think about whether the topic you want to start an article about is a real destination, but Wikivoyage standards. If it is, do not copy and paste from other sites, and please use a standard article template. If you are writing an article about a park, use a Wikivoyage:Park article template - again, if the park is a destination per what is an article.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.

All the best,

Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:56, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Again, please read What is an article, and please use standard article templates. In addition, please read Wikivoyage:Copyleft, as I believe the reason you are using a non-conventional article structure is that you are engaging in plagiarism - copying and pasting from another site that probably has a restrictive copyright, and in any case, without giving credit to your source in an edit summary that you would type in the "Summary:" box below your edit screen. Hello Alswns001,

I've removed the image of a map that you added to Goseong_(South_Gyeongsang) (and uploaded to commons). In trying to understand what the map was about, I've found identical versions elsewhere online, and photos of the map physically printed and posted. The page on Copyleft that @Ikan Kekek mentioned above applies to images as well. There are also rules at Commons:Licensing that apply.

If you are the original creator of this map, please see the information at Wikivoyage:Mapmaking_Expedition, which can help make simple, readable maps for Wikivoyage in a consistent style. If you are not the original creator, it should be deleted from Commons. Gregsmi11 (talk) 14:34, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
