User talk:Eesf48!usa
Hello, Eesf48!usa! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.
From time to time, some of your edits will be reverted - that happens to every one of us. I reverted one edit of yours, in which you added Richmond to the list of cities at South (United States of America)#Cities. The reason is that in articles about large regions, only a maximum of 9 cities are listed, per this site's 7+2 guidelines. If you feel Richmond is more important than one of the cities that's already listed, just start a discussion at Talk:South (United States of America) explaining why, and see if a consensus develops in favor of your proposal.
Let me know if you have any other questions; I'm always glad to help new users get used to the user interface and guidelines on this site (time allowing).
Happy editing!
All the best,
Scott's Addition
[edit]I have questions about that article. Mainly, note that Richmond#Districts and the district map in the Richmond article don't mention this neighborhood or have a separate listing for it. You should continue adding content, but know that it's likely to be merged into a preexisting article for a larger area including that neighborhood unless you make a proposal for a new districting scheme on Wikivoyage for Richmond. Make your proposal for how best to divide up Richmond for the benefit of travelers at Talk:Richmond, where a discussion on the borders of the currently agreed-upon districts is in any case in progress (though dormant since last November). Your viewpoint on that would be most welcome! Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:13, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
