Hello, Natataek! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. sats (talk) 09:17, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thank you very much for your work about the Gilis. It is a good article and i'm happy to see you updated some major parts. Just one note: I changed some of your words as i didn't want it to be perceived as promotional. Regards, jan (talk) 09:27, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message and enjoy a spam free travel guide. jan (talk) 09:48, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Same message as Jan really, and also wanted to encourage you to keep up the interest with those articles, it is really refreshing to see someone paying them some attention. I have left you a response to your jellyfish/vinegar comments on my Talk page, plus some general commentary on the Gili island articles, and companion Bangsal article. I hope to see you doing some more work on them in the future. Don't hesitate to contact me anytime if the mood takes you. I have not gone to look but I am assuming you have found your way here from a project with a similar theme. If so then you may well enjoy the different outlook and focus here. -- Felix (talk) 15:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I just noticed it was you who changed the Dive shop ordering here in the Gili Trawangan article. When I visited the article yesterday I found the dive shop section had lost it's alphabetical listing and re-ordered it to that. If you think there is a strong case for doing that then raise it on the Talk page so that it gets some scrutiny and input from others. I did not look back through the edit notes and just assumed it was the normal jockeying for position advantage that goes on in these matters. So go ahead and outline your reasons for it if you feel strongly that it is of clear benefit to the traveller. -- Felix (talk) 15:22, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have a look over my recent edit at the top of the listings, maybe that helps. If you think that can be improved then Plunge forward. -- Felix (talk) 16:26, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
O.K, yes that is an improvement i think. I'll see if any more consensus builds from the discussion page before plunging further ;) cheers Natataek (talk) 16:30, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Seychellesbookings[edit]

Wikivoyage:External links isn't really just about links—it's about what information we include. Removing the links to an online booking service, but still including it is kind of a silly tap dance around the policy. I've actually restored the link itself, because this does look very useful for travelers trying to organize their own ferry tickets, but sending readers to travel booking sites is precisely what we're trying to avoid by that policy, so it might be best to explain on the talk page why it has been included. It shouldn't be promoted as a general travel booking service, and definitely shouldn't be mentioned in every other paragraph in the section ;)

Here [1] is the change I made to your edits. I should point out that Seychellesbookings.com is still not allowable per policy, but I'd be OK with it as an exception (mentioned on the article talk page), so long as its inclusion is limited to its role in purchasing online ferry tickets, and so long as others don't raise objections. --Peter Talk 02:26, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your input & advice, i'll add it to the discussion page as you suggested. Cheers! Natataek (talk) 07:31, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatroller[edit]

Hi! I switched your user rights to autopatrolled because you do good work. Your edits will not be marked in the future as to be patrolled. Hope you are fine with it. Best regards, jan (talk) 15:20, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

thanks! i haven't been around for a bit, so this was a nice message to come back to! --Natataek (talk) 14:34, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Docent[edit]

Hi, Natataek! Are you still available as a docent? I've noticed you haven't been on Wikivoyage since last year, so just need to check whether you want us to retain you as docent. Many thanks, ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 00:12, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As you haven't responded, you have been removed as docent. Docents have to be available to answer travellers' questions when needed. Best wishes, ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 11:46, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
