British English to American English[edit]

Hello, and thanks a lot for these edits, but there are two things you're doing that are questionable: (1) Why are you spending time changing British spellings to American ones? (2) Please omit default address info (NL-6602 DA Wijchen), as the address tab on this site is for finding the place in person, not for snail-mailing.

All the best,

(1) I didn't really think much about those changes. My web browser drew a red line under those words and proposed changing them, so I did that. I can undo those changes, if needed. (2) I added that address information because it was also present in some other addresses, I just added it everywhere for consistency. Robin van der Vliet (talk) 01:12, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
All understood completely. I don't think it's worth bothering with a revert from American English to British English, but do keep in mind that if your browser is set to American English, it will show other perfectly good spellings as incorrect, and quite a lot of words common to all forms of English will also have red lines under them. The default address info should be removed, though. We include it pretty much only in addresses in the UK, where the postcode is so localized that it helps people find the places on the ground.
