How is that not touting? Who is "us"? Do you mean Wikivoyage? Wikivoyage does not operate a hotel in Colorado. And what travel guide uses clichéd language like "Enjoy all the comforts of home"? Not this one. That's boring corporate-speak. Ground Zero (talk) 18:42, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

And that's just it. Wikivoyage is a travel guide, not free advertising space for companies. Read WV:TOUT. But you were really blocked for edit warring. If someone disagrees with your changes, discuss it on the article's talk page. Don't just keep making the same edits. That's a waste of time. Ground Zero (talk) 18:45, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

As soon as I was blocked I wasn't able to continue posting anything at all. So I'm not making the same edits, not sure what you're referring to at all. I was blocked from that. By you. I am simply trying to understand what you want me to change other than the description and get unblocked. I don't want to advertise here. My other comments here were deleted I see for some reason. As I said, I don't want to advertise here. I want our hotel information to be shown the same as the others that were already approved are showing. I only just signed up today and trying to understand, but you are just being condescending. Your articles did not help, I asked if I just need to not put in a description, I'd be happy to not. I just need confirmation and also you to finish your sentence that says how long the block is. For U.S. articles, Wikivoyage uses a 12-hour format (e.g. 9AM-noon, 2PM-6PM). We don't use "12PM" and "12AM" because they are ambiguous: some people use them to mean "noon" and "midnight", while other people use them to mean "midnight " and "noon". This is set out in our style guide, WV:time.

We don't include postal address information, like Zip codes, and we don't include "Loveland, CO" in addresses in the Loveland article, because it is obvious and repetitive. ::: The most important thing is to write like average guide, instead of copying advertising text from your own website. Like he said, if you mean noon, type "noon", and AM and PM should be capitalized. "Because other mistakes haven't been corrected" is not a good reason to make more. Some editors make errors. We do our best to correct them. Please work with us. Wikivoyage is managed by a relatively small group of volunteers who are trying to build a free travel guide.
