How cash-free is Milan?

I will be in Milan later this month. I'd like to know how cash-free Milan is. Can I get away with only using contactless? Or maybe chip & pin? Or should I bring a good amount of cash?

Hi, you can easly buy everything using cards, even public transportations have contactless machines. I suggest you to bring some money if you are planning to use a taxi since they hardly accept credit cards, even if they are obligated. 31.194.244.33 08:18, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
