Appearance
Logansport is a small city in Northern Indiana. It was named after a Shawnee warrior named James Logan, or Captain Logan. It was a center for both canal and rail traffic since its founding in 1826, and commands a prominent location at the confluence of the Eel and Wabash Rivers.

Various buildings represent times in history - one room school house log cabin, carriage house, etc. The museum has thousands of historical artifacts from the area covering all periods of time in its Victorian surroundings.
- 2 Cole Clothing Museum, 900 East Broadway, ☏ +1 574 753 4058. Housed in the Willard B. Place House, a historic Queen Anne-style mansion built in 1889. The museum features vintage clothes.

- 3 Little Turtle Waterway. A meandering trail along the Wabash River. The trailhead is at the spot where the Wabash River, the Wabash-Erie Canal and the Pennsylvania Railroad intersected.
- 4 Riverside Park Trails, 1212 Riverside Dr. More trails, these along the Eel River, including a pedestrian bridge.

[edit]- 1 France Park, 4505 US-24, ☏ +1 574 753-2928. Tent sites and cabin rentals. France Park is also a popular destination for day trips ($5 admission as of 2022), with a swimming beach and a SCUBA diving rental center at a former limestone quarry, and many forest trails. $45 for cabin.
