Klaukkala (Swedish: Klövskog) is an urban area of about 20,000 people in the Nurmijärvi municipality in the Uusimaa region in southern Finland, right north of Helsinki.

Although Klaukkala is not the administrative center of the Nurmijärvi municipality, it has the largest population, as almost half of the municipality's residents live in Klaukkala. Klaukkala is so close to borders of Vantaa and Espoo that. In the 2010s, it was merged into the Helsinki urban area.

Korsisaari operates bus routes from Helsinki and Hyvinkää to Klaukkala. Long-distance buses between Tampere and Helsinki stop at highway stop Klaukkala liittymä 11. The 1 Klaukkala bus station is located in the Viirinlaakso area, the southern part of Klaukkala.

2 Helsinki Airport (HEL IATA) is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Klaukkala.

  • 2 Saint Nectarios of Aegina church (Pyhän Nektarios Eginalaisen kirkko), Kuonomäentie 80. Completed in 1995, a wooden orthodox church.
  • 3 Vaskonmäki. The big rock in the middle of village, popular with local climbers.
  • 4 Ali-Olli Alpaca Farm (Ali-Ollin Alpakkatila), Kuonomäentie 117. Farm where alpacas are grown according to the name of the farm. Pony riding is also possible on the farm.

  • 1 Klaukkalan tornikeskus, Tornimäentie 20. The resort centre, which includes fitness staircase. Offers also mountain biking.
  • 2 Tiira Beach of Lake Valkjärvi (Valkjärven Tiiran uimaranta), Tiiranranta 37. The lakeshore for swimming.
  • 3 Monikko (Monitoimitalo Monikko), Kuntotie 7. Monikko hosts a number of events, including entertainment as music and stand-up shows. It is next to the Klaukkala sport area.
  • 4 Isosuo nature trail (Isosuon luontopolku).
  • 5 Klaukkala tennis & squash halls (Klaukkalan Tennishallit), Isosuo 1. Tennis and squash halls near to the Klaukkala sport area.

  • 8 Kayaking. In October. On the Luhtajoki river, which is one of the Vantaa River's tributaries flowing next to Klaukkala, is possible to practice kayaking depending on the water level.
