Muncie, named after the "Munsee" clan of Lenape people and home to Ball State University, is a city in the east of Central Indiana. It was an industrial titan in its time but then felt the effects of deindustrialization.
Bus service: 14 fixed route bus transportation within the Muncie city limits provide service to most shopping, medical, employment, residential, recreational, and governmental locations. Buses operate Monday through Saturday on all but six holidays.
