Get in[edit]

Get around[edit]

Getting around within this area is generally done by bus.

Late in 2013 a new fast train line from Putian in coastal Fujian to Nanning in Jiangxi province (Fujian's neighbour on the inland side) is due to come into service; it will pass through this region and be faster than buses.

The area is well-connected to other parts of Fujian (Southern Coast (Fujian) or Northern Coast (Fujian)), in particular to the major cities Xiamen and Fuzhou. From some areas, it is also possible to head further inland (West) into Jiangxi province, South into Guangdong or North to Zhejiang.

This region travel guide to Inland Fujian is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
