What's the point in a longwinded encyclopedic region name with a bunch of red links? Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:43, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

It would be nice if Veillg1 could respond, but basically, just so that the region looks "complete". I'm planning to nominate this for deletion in one week once I return home if this municipality mess hasn't cleaned up. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 14:50, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional County Municipality (RCM) is a beautiful tourist region in the province of Quebec (Canada). This article under construction deserves to be present on Wikivoyage. Proximity RCMs must be included in "Go next" to help the reader navigate properly. There is still a lot of design work to be done on these RCM articles. Please let the writers continue to do their good work. - Veillg1 (talk 16:00, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
You've worked against Wikivoyage style for a long time now. This is a wiki, not your personal site. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:08, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
User:Veill1g you have added a lot of content of great content to Wikivoyage, and provided a lot of useful information to readers who may be visiting Quebec. One of the ways that Wikivoyage aims to serve readers is by presenting and organizing information in a consistent way, like other travel guides do. This is why we have the Wikivoyage:Manual of style.
We also want to Wikivoyage to be enjoyable to read, unlike an encyclopedia. This is why we don't let editors just "do their own thing" in Wikivoyage. "The traveller comes first" is an underlying principle of Wikivoyage, even if that means that writers don't get to do want they want. Ground Zero (talk) 15:44, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
