To guide
[edit]I think this is almost a guide-level article. The only additional thing that I think is needed is information about when meal times are, when we can expect restaurants to be open (are they closed between mealtimes, for example?) and anything else that's important to expect from a meal at a restaurant or in someone's home. If you're invited to someone's house for dinner, what's traditional to bring? Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:59, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- I would also support upgrading this article to guide, but I'd like to hear from @Ibaman: before finalizing my opinion. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 05:41, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- I don't support upgrading it until the things I mention are added. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:43, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. Glad you guys remember this article, and me. :) I've been busy lately but, when I have more time, I plan to improve it and address IK's suggestions. But, to put it in a very simplistic way, Brazilian meal structures and food customs won't seem dissimilar to the Mexican/"Latin American" tradition of full terrines of main and side dishes on the family table, mutatis mutandis on the local ingredients, and a lot of coffee all day, etc etc. That's a very dear conversation topic for me, and I could go for hours. I hope to be able to add some prose very soon. Ibaman (talk) 22:31, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Great! I look forward to your edits. It would be nice to feature this article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:12, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
- Same. Perhaps it'd be a nice cuisine feature for 2023. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 11:01, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
