Is it okay to break the template, and put 'settlements' or something instead, as there are lots of villages etc in the Cotswolds!

Extraregion?

[edit]

This article is currently classed as a region and has a number of towns in its hierarchy. These towns are in a number of counties, the rest of England is organised by the counties rather then geographical boundaries. Also other Cotswold towns are in the county hierarchy. Should we move the towns under here to the correct counties? --Traveler100 (talk) 10:56, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Cotswolds have a long history of touristic importance, and merit a complete and beautiful article. We have a precedence on the article of Lake Tahoe, which is inserted on our structure under California but mentioning options in Nevada as well. Ibaman (talk) 12:33, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
I am not saying reduce the content of the page, just sort out the hierarchy in the area. In fact should, as you say, expand to cover the whole of the area and not just the Gloucestershire part. --Traveler100 (talk) 13:41, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, we are on agreement. this article should be complete, as well as its map mask, let's go for it. ˜˜˜˜

Map Mask

[edit]

Boundary appears to be incorrect, only covering the Gloucestershire part of the Cotswolds. --Traveler100 (talk) 10:56, 19 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Actually you're right. There isn't an exact definitive boundary of the Cotswold region, although this would appear to be a better version. Andrewssi2 (talk) 05:52, 20 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
