Talk:Dubai/Suburbs and Hatta

Scope

This article, Dubai/Suburbs and Hatta, uses the name Emirates Road in the lead. Hatta is not mentioned in the lead or Get in (and there is no Understand nor Get around), but two out of five see listings are there. Hatta is not linked. Hatta, on the other hand, is breadcrumbed directly to Dubai and does not mention this article. It has no See/Do/Eat/Drink/Sleep listings.

Should Hatta be merged or split out? Talk#Dubai#Districts 2.0 (from 2013) discusses the suburbs district as Emirates Road but doesn't mention Hatta explicitly.

split 100%. i live in the suburbs myself and they are completely unrelated to hatta. its not just a geographic thing: tourism-wise they are completely different environments as well. the suburbs are.. suburbs. not much else to say about them. hatta however is one of the very few places where one can actually hike and whatnot.

not only that but hatta is split between ajman and dubai, so it shouldnt even be in the dubai namespace! Cmm78 (talk) 10:45, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
