Is "Great Plains" used for the Canadian prairie at all? If not, can we move this article to Great Plains? --(WT-en) Evan 14:47, 21 Jan 2005 (EST)
- Done. what's four years, more or less? (WT-en) LtPowers 16:00, 1 February 2009 (EST)

Conflicts
[edit]Added attractions previously and they were removed for some reason. What are qualifications for this page for see, do on a regional context? The purpose is to add overall information for travelers, not to pigeon hole them in individual communities. —The preceding comment was added by 98.16.143.35 (talk • contribs) .
- The "See" and "Do" sections on a region article -- especially one covering a region as large as this one -- should give an overview of the types of attractions that one might find, with pointers to appropriate destination articles. To avoid duplication as much as possible, we try to have actual detailed listings for attractions in only one place. For example, rather than having a "See" listing for Wall Drug in this article, we should have a paragraph that discusses tourist traps with wording such as "One of the premier examples is Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota." - I was the one who moved the listings, for the reasons outlined by LtPowers. The listings are still in travel guides - see Grand Island (Nebraska)#See for example - but they have been moved to the city articles. See New Mexico for a good example of how "See" and "Do" information is usually presented for large regions. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 16:56, 21 March 2009 (EDT)
Alternative banner
[edit]
I suggest as an alternative banner:

- Alternative for me. Ground Zero (talk) 19:00, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- I support Alternative. Also, the current banner is used on Nebraska Panhandle. Per policy at Wikivoyage:Banners, a custom banner should be used on only one article.JakeOregon (talk) 21:23, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

- As it's a duplicate banner, I've changed the banner to the alternative. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 02:09, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
