Regions[edit]

I divided Hampshire up into 3 regions, North, Mid and South Hampshire. Somebody might even want to suggest East and West Hampshire! However my breakdown is TOTALLY artificial and based on ONE reference to Baughurst being in North Hampshire. There should be much better names that people who know the region can add. Be merciless and change it because I am guessing and probably wrong. -- (WT-en) Huttite 16:03, 1 Jan 2006 (EST)

I live in Hampshire, and you can divide it into North and South Hampshire, but we mainly just call it Hampshire and rarely split it. 82.3.185.12 20:26, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Potential banner[edit]

Since I am totally ill-equipped to create banners, I just thought I'd leave this idea here should anyone wish to make a banner for this article in the future:

It's good, n'est-ce pas?

Done! --Nick talk 10:22, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Great! --Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:35, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Whoa! What's a terrific banner! I feel like I'm in the cathedral. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:08, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mapshape[edit]

The mapshape is wrong, leaving Portsmouth in the dark. The ceremonial county borders should the correct source to use. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 21:51, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with the map[edit]

@AlasdairW, ThunderingTyphoons!, Ground Zero: I have added latitudes and longitudes for the see and do sections of the article, however they have not appeared on the map 82.3.185.12 15:00, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, it fixed itself 82.3.185.12 15:08, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
They're showing for me just fine; thanks for adding them :-) Maps don't always update immediately, depending on caches and various other computery stuff I don't understand.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 15:09, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok, thanks 82.3.185.12 15:23, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
