I managed to add two images to this page to liven it up, but was disappointed that the system would NOT accept (on copyright grounds) a portrain photo of Violette Szarbo, even though 1) it was exported from her dedicated Wiki page and 2) by the looks of her in the picture it must be at least 75 years old. Can anyone provide an explanation? MUNDIMAPPA (talk) 06:40, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Did you post thumbnails of photos that are on Wikimedia Commons? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:49, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Buy[edit]

I would say that specific listings for shopping centres or areas should be in the relevant town article (presumably Hereford). Because this is an article about the whole county, there doesn't need to be a huge amount of detail on specific locations.

Looking at the WV:Region article template, there isn't even supposed to be a 'Buy' section, but as there is one in this case, it's better to focus on the types of products a visitor to Herefordshire might want to buy, and where they should buy them: the types of stores, markets etc around the county, and the best destinations for shopping. If this kind of content doesn't make sense for Herefordshire, then I would suggest leaving the 'Buy' section out completely.

well, moving city-specific info to the city's article is a must in Wikivoyage. I've just done it. Ibaman (talk) 12:25, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've moved the See, Do, Eat and Drink listings out of the article. They had no business bring there. Ground Zero (talk) 20:29, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
