District Rename
[edit]After some consideration on my part I have decided it would be a good idea to rename the Tuanku Abdul Rahman / Chow Kit district to Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Chow Kit and Kampung Baru. I believe when districts were drawn out for KL previously Kampung Baru was included in Tuanku Abdul Rahman / Chow Kit but I don't think this is made clear enough. Plus Kampung Baru is quite a distinct place and should be acknowledged and I think including it in the district name makes it more obvious. Name change has also been done on the main KL page. Further input would be great if anyone wants to do so. Winter.daniel92 (talk) 08:22, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's a long name, but I understand the reason for it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:27, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- How about Chow Kit, Kampung Baru and Titiwangsa? Many years ago I changed the article to North of City Centre but find it very unspecific now.--Renek78 (talk) 05:21, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
- Is it essential to use all three names? Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:39, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
- Maybe not. But those are the areas which are covered by this article.--Renek78 (talk) 10:10, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

What is Tuanku Abdul Rahman?
[edit]Sounds like a stupid question, but I could not find this information anywhere. Tuanku Abdul Rahman seems to be a street in Chow Kit. So should it be stated in the introduction?--Renek78 (talk) 12:05, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
- No, not just in Chow Kit. Did you try searching on Google Maps? It's a busy, important street that in the 70s was the main street in what was then Downtown KL. Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:44, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
