Liberated?[edit]

Oct 17 Philippines' Duterte declares liberation of Marawi from ISIS-affiliated militants. Apparently it is not quite over; some militants are still at large & still have hostages, but they are few, key leaders are dead, & the military think the rest is just "mopping up".

I think that if/when it happens, it would be fairer to use the word "recaptured" than "liberated". Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:55, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
