[edit]@Mx. Granger: Is this article intended to cover the topic of life just in the oceans or in other water bodies as well? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- I think the word "marine" specifically refers to the oceans. I don't see any problem with including lake and river animals together with ocean life, though—in that case, maybe the article should be moved to Underwater life. On the other hand lake and river life could possibly be covered adequately in regional wildlife articles like North American wildlife, Eurasian wildlife, etc. So I'm neutral, but if we want to add life in other bodies of water, let's rename the article. —Granger (talk · contribs) 21:30, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- The overlap is with manatees and any other creatures that live in oceans and freshwater, though often at different times of the year. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:31, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- Good point. I just thought of another possible title - Aquatic life. A move to that title or Underwater life is fine with me. —Granger (talk · contribs) 21:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- That would work, although I have no concern with using marine life as the title of the article. However, I think aquatic life might work as the best title. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:47, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
