Include French Revolutionary Wars?

The French Revolutionary Wars occurred short before the Napoleonic Wars. They could be mentioned within the same article. /Yvwv (talk) 01:21, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

If you'd like to expand the article that way, I'd recommend putting the pre-Napoleonic stuff earlier. There's a practical difference for the traveller: The Napoleonic Wars were mostly outside of France, whereas the battles of the Revolution were all in France. Not all of them. The French Revolutionary armies were in Belgium for quite some time and Napoleon came to prominence mostly due to his exploits in Italy (and later his utterly disastrous failure in Egypt) Hobbitschuster (talk) 15:46, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
