The GRs[edit]
Salut @SelfieCity: Do you plan to expand those articles for the GR 21 and GR 223? If so, then great. But if not, I think the information would be better off back in this article, as there aren't many users who contribute to France articles, so they're unlikely to be seen to by anyone else (if anyone would like to prove me wrong, now's your chance!)
Even if you do expand them, there'd be nothing wrong with reinstating some trimmed information about each path, since they have fairly meaningless designations which don't tell the traveller anything (there aren't many things I'm confident the British do better than the French, but one thing I'm certain of is that our evocative route names which actually invite you to explore - e.g. The Three Castles Way, The Coast-to-Coast Path: St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, Elsie's Postal Walk... - leave boring old GR numbers in the dust) --ThunderingTyphoons! - Good start. Maybe you could dig around elsewhere? There should be plenty on *whisper* other travel guides or walkers' blogs that you can adapt and rewrite. Hopefully in English too. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 23:42, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- There's a French Wikipedia article (stubby, but still) about GR 223 and a somewhat longer one about GR 21. Anyone who can't read French can get a rough translation of the articles via Google Translate. Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:21, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- I've added markers for each place along the route of GR 21, with coordinates. This actually showed me that the original order from Wikipedia was incorrect, unless I'd gotten wrong somewhere along the way.
