Title. The current is just the default banner used via Wikidata. Currently used on the Italian Wikivoyage. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 07:40, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I actually had the same impression too. The only reason why I proposed a banner change is because Moogerah Peaks National Park remains a redlink, while we have articles for the Whitsunday Islands and Lamington National Park. Ideally tho, I'd like a banner of the Barrier Reef, but that's a marine park, not a national park :-(. That being said, there are some national parks within the marine park, so will look for those. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 09:58, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
When we already have a good banner, is it necessary to propose a better one? Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:03, 28 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't know, but mountains are not what Queensland is known for, nor is it on the bucket list for many travellers (including domestic travellers). As someone who's lived in the state before, it's really hard to get something fully representative of the state, but it's either the rainforests, reef, beaches or anything really tropical (and it's the tropical you'd find in Thailand, not Florida). National park list

[edit]
Map
Map of Queensland national parks

Using this as a draft page, but here's a list of national parks, per it:Aree protette del Queensland. This will need regionalization before being added to the article. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 06:58, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also looking at the map, it seems there's waaaay too many parks to be listed in one article. Should it be split up from the start? --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 07:01, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Regionalise or alphabetise

[edit]

The list above is very long and I think it might need to be split up. My insights are to split them up by region, rather than by alphabetically as it seems the most logical thing to do, but it'll be a huge undertaking and we need to decide which regions we're going to use. Alternatively, alphabetisation is much easier to do, but it is not convenient for the traveller. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 01:01, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

However, alphabetization would seem pretty pointless because all the listings would be spread out. Regionalizing seems much more beneficial for the traveler, but it takes time. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 11:07, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Started the regionalisation, though it's a bit messy. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 07:30, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
