Renaming?[edit]

Recent events have brought up the issue of national identity in Eastern Europe. Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are nations with related but different cultural entities. That also relates to the cuisines of these nations; compare Nordic cuisine and Central European cuisines, which also describe cuisines of a culturally coherent region. Shall we move this article to Eastern European cuisine or East Slavic cuisine? /Yvwv (talk) 20:21, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that your two alternatives are too diffuse for clarity. The other salient fact is that "Ukraine" is mentioned a grand total of twice in this article and "Belarus" is mentioned only once. The Baltic and Central Asia are also mentioned once. Why do you think this isn't an article about Russian cuisine? Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:27, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Ikan. Also, it makes sense to include the cuisine of Asian Russia in this article, but if this were to be renamed to any of the two proposed, it would not. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 07:02, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
